AlGurus develops custom dashboards in Amman, Jordan that combine data from online stores, Meta and Google Ads, GA4, inventory and accounting into one live view. Each dashboard starts with agreed metric definitions, connects every source through its API, and gives owners, marketing and operations their own screens, alerts and scheduled email reports. You own the data, the code and the hosting.
In most growing businesses the weekly numbers are assembled by hand. Someone exports orders from the store, spend from Meta and Google, sessions from analytics and stock from a spreadsheet, then pastes them into one more spreadsheet that is out of date by Monday. Different people get different answers to the same question, and nobody fully trusts the total.
A custom dashboard replaces that ritual. We connect each source directly, store the data in one place, apply the definitions your team agreed on, and present it on screens designed for the decisions each person makes. The numbers refresh on their own, the history is kept, and the report arrives without anyone building it.
A one-glance view for owners and managers: revenue, orders, margin, spend and cash, with trends and comparisons that explain the change.
Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok spend next to the sales and leads they produced, by campaign, channel and market, in one currency.
Orders, average order value, repeat customers, best-sellers and conversion rate from Shopify, Salla or WooCommerce, plus branch sales.
Open orders, fulfilment times, returns and stock per branch, with low-stock alerts before a best-seller runs out.
Revenue, costs and margin from your accounting software, reconciled against store and payment data so the totals match.
Dashboards your own customers or franchisees log into, showing only their data, branded as yours.
The charts are the visible ten percent of a dashboard. The value is in the data pipeline underneath: how each source is connected, how the data is cleaned and joined, and how the definitions are applied consistently. Select a stage to see what happens there.
We connect to each platform through its official API: Shopify, Salla and WooCommerce for orders and customers, Meta and Google Ads for spend and results, GA4 for sessions and conversions, and your accounting or ERP software for costs and invoices. Where a tool has no API, such as a supplier spreadsheet or a POS export, we build a scheduled import with validation so bad files are caught, not silently loaded.
Connections run on a schedule that matches how fast each number changes: ad spend and orders every hour, accounting once a day.
Raw data from every source lands in a database or data warehouse in your own cloud account, with full history. That means you can compare this Ramadan with last Ramadan even if a platform only keeps ninety days, and you can switch dashboard tools later without losing anything.
This is where data becomes business language. Orders are de-duplicated, refunds and cancellations handled, currencies converted, campaigns mapped to channels and products mapped to categories. Every metric is calculated once, from its written definition, so the owner's view and the marketing view can never disagree about revenue.
Each role gets a view built around the questions they answer every week. Owners see the few numbers that matter with context. Marketing sees spend against results by campaign. Operations sees what needs action today. Filters for date, branch, market and channel sit in one place, and every chart can be opened as a table.
Most people will not open a dashboard every day, so the dashboard reaches them. Scheduled email reports summarise the week before your meeting, alerts arrive by email, WhatsApp or Slack when a number crosses a threshold, and any view can be exported to PDF or Excel for the bank, the board or a partner.
The most common reason a dashboard fails is not a technical one. It is that "revenue" means something different to finance, marketing and the store manager. Before we build a single chart, we write a metric dictionary with your team: what each number means, where it comes from, how it is calculated and who owns it. Here are six definitions we discuss on almost every project.
Putting every available number on a screen is easy. Choosing the four that matter, showing them with the context that explains them and hiding the rest one click away is the actual design work. Compare the same week of data as a typical spreadsheet export and as a designed dashboard view.

Thursday was the best day. Refunds on Wednesday were one order, already resolved.
Illustrative sample week. Not a client result.
The few headline numbers sit at the top, trends underneath, detail tables last. The eye lands on what matters before it reaches the noise.
A figure on its own means little. Each one is shown against last period, target or the same week last year, with a short note where the change needs explaining.
Any tile opens the table behind it, filtered the same way, so analysts can check the working without cluttering the view for everyone else.
Busy owners and managers rarely log in to anything daily. So we design the dashboard to reach them: a short weekly email with the numbers and what changed, and alerts on WhatsApp, email or Slack only when something needs a decision, such as stock running low on a best-seller, ad spend running ahead of plan, or a data source that stopped syncing.
Thursday was the strongest day, driven by the Reels prospecting campaign. Three best-sellers are below ten units in Sweifieh; a transfer from Abdoun is suggested.

A free Looker Studio report is the right answer for many businesses, and we build those too. A custom dashboard earns its place when the data needs serious joining, the definitions need enforcing, or the dashboard itself becomes part of your product.
| Question | Spreadsheets | Looker Studio | BI tools (Power BI and similar) | Custom dashboard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One person, a few sources | Marketing reports on Google data | Analyst teams exploring data | Many sources, many roles, fixed definitions |
| Data freshness | Manual, often stale | Live for Google sources, connectors for others | Scheduled refresh | Scheduled per source, with failure alerts |
| Joining sources | Copy and paste | Limited blending | Strong, needs an analyst | Modelled once in your warehouse |
| Arabic and RTL | Basic | Partial | Partial | Full, both languages |
| Cost model | Staff time | Free, plus paid connectors | Per user, per month | Build once, then hosting and care |
| Can customers log in? | No | Shared links only | With extra licences | Yes, with their own data only |
AlGurus runs paid campaigns, SEO and ecommerce for clients every day, so we know which numbers move decisions and which ones only fill screens. We judge a dashboard project by whether people use it and trust it, and we measure that openly.
How many people open the dashboard or its reports each week, per role.
The spreadsheet work the dashboard replaced, agreed with your team before launch.
Every source's last successful sync, with alerts when one falls behind.
Automated checks that dashboard totals match the store, ad platforms and accounting.
Our team has managed more than $28M+ in ad spend for more than 120 brands across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iraq, the USA and Canada. We have spent those years reading Meta, Google, Snapchat, GA4 and store data side by side, which is exactly the work a good dashboard automates.
Google Premier Partner and Meta Business Partner status means our team works with these ad platforms and their reporting at depth. Shopify Partner status covers the store side.
Dashboard examples from real projects are shown on your strategy call with client data removed.
We start with the decisions, not the data. Knowing what each person needs to decide every week tells us which numbers to build, which sources to connect and what can safely be left out of version one.
Short interviews with each role: what you decide, how often, and which numbers you check today.

Care planThe data warehouse, the connections, the dashboard code and the metric dictionary are all yours. Your data never sits in an account you cannot access, and if you ever want an in-house analyst to take over, they inherit a documented system rather than a black box.
Dashboards also need care: platforms change their APIs, new campaigns need mapping, and new questions come up. A care plan keeps the syncs healthy and adds the views your team asks for next.
Every metric defined, with source, formula, owner and refresh.
All sources connected, with history and backups.

Some businesses need a properly engineered dashboard. Others need a well-built Looker Studio report and an hour of training. We will tell you which one you are.

A custom dashboard is a live screen built for your business that combines data from several tools, such as your online store, ad accounts, analytics, stock and accounting, and shows the numbers each role needs. It is backed by a data pipeline that keeps the numbers fresh and calculates every metric the same way.
We commonly connect Shopify, Salla and WooCommerce, Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok Ads, GA4 and Search Console, Google Sheets, accounting and ERP software, CRMs, POS systems and payment gateways. Anything with an API can be connected, and files without one can be imported on a schedule.
Looker Studio is an excellent free tool for reports built mainly on Google data. A custom dashboard adds a proper data warehouse, consistent metric definitions across many sources, role-based access, full Arabic support, alerts and the option for customers or partners to log in. We often start clients on Looker Studio and move to custom when they outgrow it.
Cost depends on the number of data sources, how much cleaning and modelling the data needs, the number of views and roles, and whether customers will log in. A single-team dashboard on a few sources is a much smaller project than a company-wide system. We fix scope and price after the discovery interviews.
Most of the time goes into agreeing definitions and validating data, not drawing charts. We aim to put a first useful view in front of your team early, based on the most important sources, and add sources and views in later releases.
Each source syncs on its own schedule. Orders and ad spend typically refresh hourly, analytics and accounting daily. Every view shows when its data was last updated, and you are alerted if a sync fails.
Ad platforms use their own attribution windows and each one claims credit for some of the same sales, while analytics tools miss visits blocked by consent banners or ad blockers. The dashboard applies your agreed definitions consistently and labels platform-reported figures clearly, so the differences are explained rather than hidden.
Access is set per role and enforced on the server. A branch manager can see only their branch, marketing can see spend and results but not salaries, and an external partner can see only their own data. Every login and export is logged.
Yes. The warehouse, pipeline code, dashboard code and documentation live in accounts registered to your business. You can maintain it in-house or with another team at any time.
Book a strategy call and bring last week's report. We will map where each number comes from, tell you honestly whether Looker Studio is enough, and sketch what a first dashboard release could look like.
