AlGurus runs YouTube Ads for brands in Amman, across Jordan and in the Gulf, as a Google Premier Partner. We handle strategy, Arabic and English scripts, video production, targeting and measurement for skippable, non-skippable, bumper, in-feed and Shorts ads, and we report on views, clicks and the sales or leads that follow, not just on view counts.

What it is

What YouTube Ads can do for a business in Jordan

YouTube Ads are video ads that play before, during or next to YouTube videos, inside YouTube search results and the Home feed, and between Shorts. You buy them through Google Ads, so they share the same audiences, conversion tracking and reporting as your Search and Performance Max campaigns.

That is the real advantage. A banner can show your product; a video can show it working. A clinic can walk through a treatment room, a restaurant can show the grill at dinner time, a jewelry brand can put a necklace on a real person under real light. For anything people need to see, hear or trust before they buy, video does a job that text ads cannot.

In Jordan, most YouTube viewing happens on phones, in Arabic and English, often with the sound on. That shapes how we make and run ads: the product appears in the first second, captions carry the message for silent viewers, and every script has an Arabic version written by a native speaker rather than translated.

YouTube is not only an awareness channel. Run with the right goal, the right audience and proper tracking, it drives website visits, leads and purchases, and it makes your Search and Shopping ads work harder, because people search for brands they have just watched.

Ad formats

Pick the format by the job, not by habit

Each format has a different contract with the viewer. We match the format to the goal, then cut the same shoot into every length we need.

FormatHow it playsBest forHow you pay
Skippable in-streamPlays before or during a video; viewer can skip after 5 secondsSales, leads and site traffic at scalePer view (about 30 seconds watched or a click) or toward a conversion goal
Non-skippable in-streamUp to 15 seconds, no skip buttonA full message you need everyone to seePer thousand impressions
Bumper6 seconds, no skip buttonReminders, launches, offers, frequencyPer thousand impressions
In-feedA thumbnail and headline in search results, Home feed and Watch nextLonger videos: reviews, tutorials, storiesWhen someone clicks to watch
ShortsVertical, full-screen, between ShortsReach on mobile, younger audiences, products that moveThrough Demand Gen or Video campaigns

Most of our accounts run a mix: skippable ads aimed at conversions as the engine, bumpers to keep the brand in front of people who already watched, and Shorts for reach on mobile. Google sets the exact format rules and they change from time to time; we keep each campaign in line with the current specifications so ads are never rejected or cropped.

Script structure

How we build a 30-second ad, second by second

Drag the playhead. Every ad we write follows this structure, then gets cut down to 15 and 6 seconds from the same footage.

Win the skip button

Everything that matters has to land before the skip button appears. We put the product, the face or the problem on screen in the first second, and we say the brand name early.

  • Product or person visible in frame one
  • Brand name or logo in the first five seconds
  • A question, a contrast or a surprising visual
What is included

Everything a YouTube campaign needs, under one roof

You do not need a separate production house, media buyer and analyst. One team owns the idea, the video and the numbers.

Strategy and goal setting

We decide what YouTube should do for you: sell, generate leads, launch, or grow search demand, and set the campaign type and budget split to match.

Scripts in Arabic and English

Native Arabic scripts, not translations. Hooks, proof points and offers written for how people in Jordan and the Gulf actually talk.

Video production and editing

Shooting, editing, motion graphics, voiceover and subtitles, or a professional re-cut of the footage you already have.

Audience and placement targeting

Cities, languages, custom segments built from Google searches, your site visitors and customer lists, and hand-picked channels.

Tracking and attribution

Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 and Tag Manager set up so views, clicks and view-through conversions are counted properly.

Testing and optimisation

Hooks, lengths, thumbnails and audiences tested against each other. Budget moves weekly toward what brings results.

Targeting

Who sees your ad, layer by layer

YouTube targeting works by stacking signals. Each layer narrows the audience and raises relevance; too many layers and the campaign cannot spend or learn. Toggle the layers to see the trade-off.

Illustrative

We usually start broad enough for Google to learn, with location, language and one strong intent signal, then add layers only when the data says they help. Custom segments built from Google searches are often the sharpest tool for direct response: the people who searched for your category last week are a far better audience than a vague interest group. For remarketing we build lists of people who watched at least part of your ad or visited key pages, and serve them shorter follow-up videos with an offer.

Production

No video yet? We make it with you

Most businesses we meet do not have ad-ready video. That is normal. We plan production around the ad, not the other way round, so every second of footage has a job.

Brief

Product, audience, offer and the one thing the viewer must remember.

Script and storyboard

Hook, proof, offer and action, in Arabic and English, approved before anything is shot.

Shoot

Studio or on location, in your store, clinic or kitchen. Or we edit your existing footage.

Cut every length

One shoot becomes a 30s, a 15s, a 6s bumper and a vertical Shorts version.

Voice and captions

Native voiceover and burned-in subtitles, so the ad works with or without sound.

Good YouTube ads rarely need a big budget. They need a clear idea and honest footage. A founder talking to camera, a real customer, a close-up of the product in use, a before-and-after: these often beat polished brand films because they feel like YouTube, not like television.

Cultural fit matters as much as quality. We write for local values, local humour and local details, such as the neighbourhood, the delivery promise or the payment method, which is where a Jordanian brand can win against bigger international advertisers with larger budgets.

Measurement

What we measure, and why views are not the goal

Every campaign has one main goal and a short list of numbers that prove it is working. We report those, in plain language, every month.

Attention

View rate and watch time

How many people chose to keep watching, and for how long. The first sign a hook is working.

Attention

Audience retention

Where viewers drop off: at 25%, 50%, 75% and the end of the video. It tells us which second to fix.

Action

Clicks and conversions

Purchases, leads, calls and sign-ups from people who clicked the ad, tracked with Google Ads and GA4.

Action

View-through conversions

People who watched but did not click, then came back later and bought. YouTube's biggest hidden contribution.

Brand

Brand lift

Ad recall, awareness and consideration measured by Google surveys, when the budget makes a campaign eligible.

Brand

Search lift

Do more people search your brand name after the campaign starts? We watch branded search volume in Google Ads.

Cost

Cost per result

Cost per view, per thousand impressions and, most importantly, per lead or per sale.

Cost

Frequency

How often the same person sees your ad. Enough to remember, not so much that they get annoyed.

Honest fit

When YouTube Ads are (and are not) the right choice

We would rather tell you now than spend your budget proving it later.

A strong fit when

  • Your product is easier to show than to describe: food, fashion, beauty, clinics, real estate, cars, furniture, jewelry, apps.
  • You already capture demand on Search or Shopping and want more people searching for you.
  • You are launching a product, a branch or an offer and need people to remember the name.
  • You can produce, or are willing to let us produce, simple, honest video regularly.
  • You sell in Arabic-speaking markets where well-made local video still stands out.

Probably not the right choice when

  • You need leads tomorrow and have no Search campaign yet; Search usually comes first.
  • The budget can only support one channel at a small scale; video needs enough reach to learn.
  • There is no way to track sales or leads yet, and no plan to set it up.
  • You only want views for vanity; we will steer the goal toward business results.
  • The offer or landing page is not ready; video will send people to a page that cannot convert them.

FAQ

YouTube Ads questions, answered

Why should a business in Jordan advertise on YouTube specifically?

Because video does what text and images cannot: it shows the product in motion, puts a real face on the brand and tells a story in sound and pictures. Jordan is a mobile-first market and people spend a lot of time watching video, in Arabic and English. YouTube ads let you reach them while they watch, then follow up with the people who showed interest. It is especially strong for demonstrating products, building trust and making your brand the name people search for later.

We don't have professional video content. Can you help with ad creation?

Yes. We provide the full service:

  • Scripting and storyboarding built around local culture and values.
  • Shooting and editing that captures attention in the first seconds.
  • Localisation in Arabic or bilingual, with native voiceover and subtitles.

You can also send existing footage and we will re-cut it into ad-ready versions.

How do you make sure our ads reach the right audience and don't waste budget?

We combine YouTube targeting with local market knowledge:

  • Demographic and interest targeting, for example people interested in luxury watches or fashion in Amman.
  • Custom segments based on recent Google searches.
  • Placement targeting on specific channels and videos your audience watches.
  • Geotargeting by city, region or radius.

We then add exclusions and frequency caps and keep moving budget toward the audiences that convert.

How do you measure success, since YouTube is often seen as a branding platform?

We track both brand and direct-response results:

  • Brand lift studies for ad recall, awareness and consideration, when the campaign is eligible.
  • View-through conversions: people who watched, did not click, and converted later.
  • Direct conversions such as purchases, sign-ups and leads from clicks.
  • Engagement: view rate, watch time and retention.

Your monthly report connects these to business results, not just views.

How can YouTube help us compete with larger international brands?

By being more relevant, not louder. Ads that reflect Jordanian culture, values and humour often beat global campaigns that feel imported. We keep production cost-effective, focus the budget on your most valuable local audiences, and use real customers, local creators and community stories to build trust that large corporations struggle to match.

What budget do we need to start YouTube Ads?

It depends on the market, the goal and how many formats we run, so we do not quote a fixed number on this page. The budget has to be large enough for Google's bidding to learn and for enough people to see the ad more than once. On the strategy call we give you a recommended starting budget and explain how we reached it.

How long should our YouTube ad be?

As long as it needs to be, and no longer. For skippable ads we usually produce a 15 to 30 second main cut; for bumpers, 6 seconds; for Shorts, a vertical cut under a minute. Longer formats can work for in-feed placements, such as product reviews or tutorials. What matters most is the first five seconds.

Can YouTube ads run in Arabic and English at the same time?

Yes. We usually run separate ads for each language so the script, voiceover and captions feel native, and target each by language setting and audience. In some markets a bilingual ad with Arabic voice and English captions, or the reverse, works well; we test it.

Do we need a YouTube channel?

Yes. Your video ads are uploaded to a YouTube channel, usually your brand's own, which is then linked to Google Ads. The videos can be unlisted so they only appear as ads. Linking also lets us build remarketing lists from people who watched your videos.

How quickly will we see results?

Views and early engagement data arrive within days. Conversion-focused campaigns usually need a few weeks of data before bidding settles and we can judge which hooks and audiences work. Brand effects build over a longer period. We agree on realistic checkpoints before launch.
