We design complete brand identities: strategy, logo, a bilingual Arabic and English logotype, colour, type, voice and a brand book that your team, your printer and your ad designers can actually follow.
Chapters
One leaf, one olive,
two equal circles.
Six colours. Every pair tested.
Headlines, prices and labels in English.
Headlines and body text in Arabic.
We sound like the neighbour who knows olives. Warm, proud, never loud.
Same brand, every surface.
Zaytouna is an invented sample brand, designed for this page.
AlGurus is a brand identity design agency in Amman, Jordan, and the creative studio of a performance marketing agency in the market since 2018. We design logos, bilingual Arabic and English logotypes, colour palettes, typography, tone of voice and full brand guidelines for new brands and rebrands.
Every identity is built to work inside real campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Google and Shopify, and it is delivered with organised final files and a brand book your team can use from day one.
Most businesses in Jordan start with a logo and nothing else. Then the first menu, the first shop sign and the first Instagram post are each designed by someone different, and within a year the brand looks like five brands. Customers notice, even if they cannot explain it. Recognition takes repetition, and repetition needs rules.
A brand identity is the full visual and verbal system around your name: the logo and its versions, the colours and how much of each to use, the typefaces in Arabic and English, the photography style, the tone of voice and the layouts that carry all of it. When those parts agree, every post, package and ad adds to the same memory.
We design identities as working tools, not presentation slides. That means testing the logo at 24 pixels in an Instagram profile picture, checking colour contrast for readability, setting Arabic type as carefully as English, and writing guidelines in plain language so a new designer can pick them up without calling us.
A brand identity project is built in chapters, like the brand book it produces. Take the full set for a new brand, or pick the chapters you need for a refresh.
We start with a discovery workshop on your audience, competitors, price position and ambition. The result is a short strategy page: who you serve, what you promise, what makes you different and the personality the design must express.
A primary logo plus the versions real life needs: horizontal and stacked lockups, an icon for profile pictures and favicons, and one-colour versions for stamps, embroidery and engraving. Every version is tested at small sizes.
Arabic and Latin wordmarks drawn as a pair, with matched visual weight, height and spacing, so neither script looks borrowed. We design right-to-left lockups for Arabic-first placements too.
A primary and secondary palette with clear roles, usage proportions and specifications for screen and print. Every text and background pair is checked against WCAG contrast guidance so your posts and website stay readable.
A Latin and Arabic type pairing chosen for character, readability and licence terms, with a hierarchy for headlines, subheads, body and captions in both scripts.
How your brand sounds in Arabic and English: personality traits, words you use and avoid, a tagline direction and examples for launches, replies and announcements, so captions and customer messages sound like one company.
The identity applied to the places customers meet it: stationery, packaging and labels, shop signage, uniforms, vehicle graphics, social media profile, post and Story templates, and ad layouts.
A brand book in PDF that explains every rule with do and don't examples, plus an organised folder of final artwork in the formats your printer, web developer and social team need.
Switch on the guides to see how the sample Zaytouna mark is made. The same discipline goes into every logo we draw.
A good logo is simple enough to remember, distinctive enough to own and sturdy enough to survive real use: embroidered on an apron, printed on a label, shrunk into a 24 pixel profile picture, placed on top of a busy photo in an ad. We design for those moments first, and polish second.
Shapes are built from a small set of geometric parts, so the mark looks balanced and can be redrawn accurately by any printer or sign maker.
The protected area is measured with a unit taken from the mark, so it scales with the logo and needs no ruler.
We set a minimum size for screen and print and check legibility there, including favicon, profile picture and stamp versions.
Every logo has a single-colour and a reversed version for embroidery, engraving, foil and dark backgrounds.
In Jordan and the Gulf your name lives in two scripts. We draw both wordmarks together so they share weight, rhythm and presence, then build lockups for every direction a layout can take.
Arabic letterforms carry more detail, so we balance stroke thickness and size by eye until both words feel equally strong, rather than matching numbers.
We align the Arabic body to the Latin capitals and tune spacing so the pair reads as one unit, not two logos placed side by side.
For Arabic-first placements the mark moves to the right and the Arabic leads. We never just mirror the English layout.
Arabic is a connected script. Wordmarks are checked by native readers so every join, dot and ligature is correct and natural.
Colour is often the first thing people remember about a brand. We give every colour a job and a proportion, and we test text pairs against WCAG contrast guidance, so a beautiful palette never produces an unreadable post.
Text colour
Background
Contrast ratio
The checker above runs the same test we run on every identity. Normal body text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background to meet WCAG AA, and large headlines need 3 to 1. Notice that terracotta on cream passes for large headlines but not for small text. That is not a reason to drop the colour. It is a reason to write a rule: use it for buttons and big offers, never for small print.
We also set usage proportions, so the accent stays special. When a brand uses its strongest colour everywhere, nothing stands out, including the call to action in your ads. Each colour is specified in HEX and RGB for screens and CMYK for print, with spot colour references where packaging or signage needs them.
| Approved pair | Ratio | Use for |
|---|---|---|
| Ink on Cream | 14.2 : 1 | All body text |
| Olive on Cream | 8.2 : 1 | Headlines, logo |
| Ink on Sand | 11.6 : 1 | Labels, panels |
| Ink on Leaf | 5.9 : 1 | Tags, icons with text |
| Terracotta on Cream | 4.3 : 1 | Large text and buttons only |
We choose a Latin and an Arabic typeface that share proportions and personality, then build a hierarchy that works in both directions. Drag the slider to test the headline size.
Open, round and very readable on small screens. Used for English headlines, prices and interface labels.
A clear modern Arabic with generous counters that sits comfortably next to Lexend. Used for Arabic headlines and body copy.
Typography is where many bilingual brands quietly break. Arabic usually needs a slightly larger size and more line height than Latin to feel equally comfortable, and its headlines should never be squeezed into a layout drawn for English. We set separate size scales for each script, check every typeface licence for web, print and app use, and include free alternatives for Canva or Office when your team needs to make quick materials themselves.
Your captions, ads, WhatsApp replies and packaging copy are part of the identity. We define how the brand speaks in Arabic and English, then show it with real situations.
Speak like a person who cares about the customer, with short friendly sentences. Avoid exaggerated praise and long chains of exclamation marks.
Let facts carry the pride: where it comes from, how it is made, who makes it. Specific details persuade better than superlatives.
One message per post, with a clear next step. Wordplay is welcome only when it still makes sense at a glance and in both languages.
The new harvest is here. Pressed in Ajloun this October and bottled the same week. Taste it with fresh bread and za'atar this weekend.
Specific place and time, a sensory idea and a clear moment to buy.
AMAZING NEWS!!! The BEST olive oil in the WORLD is finally HERE, don't miss out, order NOW!!!
Shouting, empty superlatives and no reason to believe.
Hi Lina, you are right, your order should have arrived yesterday. It is with the courier now and will reach you tomorrow before noon. We have added a soap bar to say sorry.
Owns the problem, gives a clear update and a small human gesture.
Dear customer, delays may occur due to high demand. Please be patient. Thank you for your understanding.
Cold, generic and avoids responsibility.
This year's harvest was smaller, so our 1 litre bottle price changes from next month. The oil, the groves and the people pressing it stay exactly the same.
Honest reason, early notice and a reminder of what does not change.
Please note new prices apply starting next month.
Technically correct, but it reads like a utility bill.
An identity proves itself when it leaves the screen. We apply it to the surfaces your customers actually touch and scroll past, and we include the specifications so suppliers can produce them correctly.
Packaging is your most persuasive ad because it sits in the customer's hand. We design labels, boxes and bags that look like one family, keep legal and product information readable, and leave room for Arabic and English.
A shop front is read from across the street in a second. We design fascias, projecting signs, window graphics and interior signs with the right lockup, sizing and contrast for distance, day and night.
Your team is the brand in person. We prepare uniform and merchandise designs with simplified one-colour logos for embroidery and print, placed where they are visible but comfortable to wear.
Social is where most customers meet a new brand first. We design the profile picture, highlight covers and a starter set of post, carousel and Story templates in both languages, built for Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and TikTok formats.
Business cards, letterheads, invoices, envelopes and presentation templates make a small business look established. We supply print-ready files and editable templates for the documents you send every day.

AlGurus is a Meta Business Partner and a Google Premier Partner, one of the top 3% of Google Partners worldwide. Your identity is designed by a team that also runs the campaigns it will appear in.
Results are from client work; brand names are withheld. Identity samples on this page use an invented brand.
New brands get the full journey: strategy, naming direction if you need it, logo, system and launch materials, so you open with a brand that already looks established. It is far cheaper to build the system before the first sign is printed than to replace everything a year later.
Existing brands often need a refresh rather than a revolution. We audit what you already have, keep the equity customers recognise, such as a colour or a symbol, and modernise the rest. A good rebrand feels like the same company finally dressed for where it is going.
Either way, we plan the rollout with you: what changes first online, what changes when stock runs out, and how to announce it so loyal customers come along.
Instagram, the shop, the website and the packaging were designed at different times by different people.
Fine details disappear in a profile picture or a favicon, or the logo cannot be embroidered.
A price increase, a Gulf expansion or a new audience needs an identity that matches the new ambition.
The Arabic wordmark was typed in a default font and never designed to match.
There is no brand book and no organised folder, so every supplier starts from a screenshot.
A clear path with a sign-off at each step, so you are part of every decision and there are no surprises at the end. The timeline is agreed in your proposal after the first call.
We meet the founders and key people to understand the business, customers, competitors and goals.

Still unsure what you need? Book a strategy call and we will tell you honestly whether you need a full identity or a refresh.
A full project covers brand strategy, a logo system, a bilingual Arabic and English logotype, a colour palette, typography, tone of voice, brand applications such as stationery, packaging, signage and social templates, and a brand guidelines PDF with organised final files. You can also choose only the parts you need.
A logo is one symbol or wordmark. A brand identity is the complete system around it: logo versions, colours, fonts, imagery style, voice and the rules for using them. The logo helps people recognise you; the identity makes every touchpoint feel like the same brand.
Yes. We design the Arabic and Latin wordmarks together so they match in weight, height and spacing, and we create lockups for both left-to-right and right-to-left layouts. Arabic letterforms are reviewed by native readers to make sure every join and dot is correct.
It depends on the scope: a logo refresh is much shorter than a full identity with packaging and signage. After the discovery call we send a proposal with a clear timeline for each step, and we keep to the plan with sign-offs along the way.
The cost depends on the chapters you need, the number of applications and whether it is a new brand or a refresh. We do not sell fixed packages that include work you do not need. Book a strategy call and we will send a clear quote based on your scope.
Yes. We audit your current identity, keep what customers already recognise, such as a colour, symbol or name style, and modernise the rest. Many businesses only need a refined logo, a proper colour system and guidelines to look consistent again.
You receive vector files in SVG, PDF and EPS for print and signage, PNG files for digital use, colour specifications in HEX, RGB and CMYK, the brand guidelines as a PDF and editable templates for the items in your scope, organised in a clear folder structure.
The final approved artwork is handed over for your business to use, with the ownership and usage terms written clearly in your proposal. Typeface licences are owned by their foundries, so we tell you exactly which licences you need and include free alternatives where they make sense.
Yes. Our studio works alongside our social media management, Meta Ads and web development teams, so the identity can roll out across your Instagram feed, ad creatives and Shopify or Salla store with the same people who designed it.
Yes. We are based in Amman and work with brands in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iraq, the USA and Canada. Workshops and presentations run online when we cannot meet in person.
Tell us about your business in a strategy call. We will tell you what your brand needs, what it does not, and how we would build it.
